Process & case study
How we build your website in days, not months.
Five steps, no mystery. Below the steps, we take the site you are reading apart and show you what the R9,000 Small Business Package actually produced.
The five steps of a build
Free call
15 minutes · day 0
What your business does, who your customers are, how they find you now, and what the site has to achieve. You leave the call knowing the package, the price and the launch date.
Content handover
Your side · day 1
You send logo, photos and anything already written — WhatsApp is fine. Nothing written yet? We draft the copy from the call and you correct it. This is the only step that can hold a build up.
Build
Our side · days 2–5
Design and pages come together on a private preview link you can open any time. Mobile layout is built first and checked on a real phone, not just a narrow browser window.
Two rounds of changes
Together · day 6
You go through the preview and send everything at once — voice notes welcome. We work through the list, you check it, then a second shorter round if anything is still off.
Launch & handover
Day 7
The site goes live on your domain, your Google Business Profile is pointed at it, and you get every login in writing plus a short walkthrough of how to change your own text.
Case study 01
Stellenbosch Web Studio — this website
Our own site is the first Small Business Package build. Same price, same timeline, same checklist a paying client gets — which makes it the most honest sample we can show you.
The brief
Convince a sceptical local owner that a R9,000 site can look like a R40,000 one — and prove it by being that site.
What shipped
Six pages, animated hero, sticky navigation, floating WhatsApp button, contact form, embedded map, full on-page SEO.
Time to live
Five working days, including two rounds of changes and the Google Business Profile submission.
Under the hood
The SEO work you cannot see on the screen.
This is the checklist that ran on every page of this site while it was being designed — not as a clean-up pass afterwards. It is included in the Small Business Package, and the same list runs on your build.
One thing worth knowing: your Google Business Profile verification is the slow part, and it is out of everyone’s hands. We submit it on day one of the build and use phone or email verification wherever Google offers it, because postcard verification can take weeks.
Unique title tag & meta description per page
Written to earn the click, kept under the length Google truncates at. No two pages repeat.
One H1 per page, clean heading order
Each page states what it is about and where — no page competing with another for the same search.
Descriptive image filenames and alt text
Real descriptions of the picture, keywords used naturally rather than stuffed.
Local Business schema (JSON-LD)
On the homepage and contact page: name, area served, phone, hours, category and prices.
Consistent NAP everywhere
Name, area and phone number written identically on every page and matched to the Google listing.
Clean slugs, internal links, sitemap-ready
Every page linked from at least one other, none orphaned, and a sitemap ready to submit.
Analytics slot ready for launch day
A marked place in the markup for your GA4 tag, so tracking starts the day you go live.
Placeholder — client case studies
Client builds land here as they go live.
The studio is new, so these slots are genuinely empty. We would rather show you three real Stellenbosch businesses in a month than invent six today — and you can ask on WhatsApp to see any build in progress.
Your build could start on Monday.
We take a limited number of builds at a time so the timelines stay real. Book the free call and we will tell you the next open slot. See the packages.
